Notes:
To his wife Ann he left: all the household furniture and all my farming stock and crop and farming utensils and all property whatsoever belongs to me to be enjoyed by her during her lifetime

After the death of his wife he left: all aforesaid property to be divided between 3 of my children, son Charles James and daughters Ann James and Hannah James in equal shares with the following exceptions:

1. My two daughters Hannah and Ann are to have all my household furniture beds and bedclothes to be shared equally between themselves alone
2. My son Charles James to have one cart one plough and on harrow together with all the horse tackle more than his share of the remainder of my property

I appoint my beloved wife Ann and my son Charles joint executors.
